Archives: 2017 Art symposia series

With support from the City of Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Office of Arts & Culture presented its 12th annual symposium, sharing best practices and key opportunities for sustaining our sector. Keynotes include Mitch Landrieu, New Orleans Mayor/ President of the US Conference of Mayors and Randy Cohen, VP of Research & Policy at Americans for the Arts and Sara Reisman, Artistic Director of the Shelley and Donald Rubin Foundation and former Director of NYC's Percent-for-the-Arts Program.

The North County Arts Symposium was held on Friday, November 3 from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. at the Minami Community Center at 500 W. Enos Drive in Santa Maria. Many thanks to everybody who attended.

Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research and Policy at Americans for the Arts will share compelling information about arts and your economy. 

Sara Reisman, Artistic Director of the Shelley and Donald Rubin Foundation and Former Director of the NYC Department for Cultural Affairs Percent-for-the-Art Program.
