Redwoods to Rockabilly: The Prints of Angelina LaPointe is sponsored by the City of Santa Barbara and features La Pointe’s multi-color linoleum block prints depicting iconic California landscapes as well as artwork inspired by vintage music posters, medieval, romantic, and folk styles.
 
Angelina LaPointe is a Lompoc-born artist who works in a wide variety of creative media. She has a degree in Book Arts from the University of California Santa Barbara’s College of Creative Studies, where she focused on the technique of block printing. In 2014, she founded Sidecar Press, a one-woman letterpress studio in the pantry of her farmhouse. Angelina also plays upright bass and sings in a Rockabilly-Americana band called The Luck. In addition to perfecting her craft, LaPointe strives to provide a voice for her community of musicians and artists.
