The Santa Barbara Office of Arts & Culture presents its 12th annual symposium, sharing best practices and key opportunities for sustaining our sector. Keynotes include Mitch Landrieu, New Orleans Mayor/ President of the US Conference of Mayors and Randy Cohen, VP of Research & Policy at Americans for the Arts and Sara Reisman, Artistic Director of the Shelley and Donald Rubin Foundation and former Director of NYC's Percent-for-the-Arts Program. Santa Barbara Arts Symposium: Thursday, November 2 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Paseo Nuevo. The morning program will be at the Balboa Building and the afternoon program will be at the Center Stage Theater.

This year's symposium offers an AM program ticket, a PM program ticket and an optional lunch ticket. Tickets cost $5 per session and $15 for lunch.

North County Arts Symposium: Friday, November 3 from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. at the Minami Community Center at 500 W. Enos Drive in Santa Maria.
